Hello. I'm Nanette Regan and I design and make soft toys. I have a degree in Painting from the Slade School of Fine Art and I have worked as a prop maker, puppet maker and scenery painter. My biggest influences are illustrators Gyo Fujikawa, David McKee and Lauren Child and the Quilters of Gee's Bend.
I love scraps of fabric and odd buttons and making them into objects that are beautiful and useful. Applique, quilting and collage are all processes that I use to turn tiny leftovers into objects worthy of love.
All the items in my shop have been designed and handmade by me in a smoke-free and pet-free environment. All the toys I make comply with the European Toy Safety Directive, known in Great Britain as BS EN71 (parts 1-8). All the toys I make are appropriate for children of all ages.
